Bluebirds sign Matt McClure

Striker joins from Gloucester City

We are delighted to announce the signing of 31yr old striker, Matt McClure, who joins the Club from Gloucester City.

Subject to satisfactory clearances it is hoped to include him in Saturday’s squad against Worthing.

Matt’s previous clubs include Wycombe Wanderers, Aldershot Town and Maidstone Utd amongst others. 

He has also appeared for Northern Ireland’s U19 and U21 teams making his debut for the latter as a substitute in the European U21 Championship qualifier against Macedonia. 

Matt was the National League North’s top scorer in season 2020/21.
