Chippenham Town confirm signing of Nathaniel Williams
Chippenham Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of 20-year-old defender Nathaniel Williams.
The left-footed defender joins the #Bluebirds after an impressive campaign in pre-season, where he featured in the majority of Chippenham Town’s seven 2023/24 friendlies as a trialist.
His previous clubs include Bristol City and at newly promoted National League South side Weston-super-Mare where he spent a loan period with The Seagulls at the back end of last season.
Here’s Nathaniel thoughts on signing for the Bluebirds:
I am really looking forward to my journey with Chippenham Town FC and am excited to show the fans the contributions I can make to their club. During the off-season, I had the opportunity to meet the manager, who shared his ideas and plans for the upcoming season which impressed me a lot as it would help improve me as a player.
From the very first day, the staff and players have been a pleasure to work with and I look forward to what the season has in store for us.
