The Bluebirds had a successful trip to the Cotswold’s despite again being with out eight players due to Covid.

The Bluebirds opened the scoring inside the opening five minutes when Kieran Parselle‘s pass set Dan Griffiths racing down the left and he pulled the ball back for a trialist to slot home.

The home side responded with a shot from a trialist which saw Will Henry push the effort away.

The Centurions Brad Grey then saw his shot on the turn strike a post, whilst Aidan Bennett’s shot was blocked by the Bluebirds defence.

Alefe Santos saw a free kick clear the bar before Chippenham doubled their lead in the fifty sixth minute when a long ball from the left found a trialist beyond the far post and he hit home a sweet half-volley.

Henry then made a smart diving save to deny Jordan Morris. Substitute Noah Coppin hit home the third when he emerged from a crowded penalty area to fire home.
