CTFC Academy complete 10-hour match!

Our academy have completed the challenge for two great causes

Sunday saw the Chippenham Town Academy complete a 10-hour 11v11 match, to raise funds for Academy player Jayden Davies as he begins treatment for Sinus Cancer.

The match started at 9.30 and the scoring was opened by Todd Hewitt early on!

At the 4.5 hour mark the bibs had a narrow lead despite going behind. The full time whistle was sounded at 7.30 with tired legs and smiling faces.

Funds raised will go to support Jayden during his treatment as well as being supporting two charities close to Jayden and his family, Young Lives vs Cancer & Macmillan Cancer Support.

We would like to thank every player who turned up to put a shift in the rotating team of match officials who spared time on their Sunday’s , any supporters who turned up to support the lads and Joe Sharples for organising the whole event!
