We visit Somerset in our final match pre-Christmas

CTFC travel to North Somerset, and particularly Weston-super-Mare for what will be our final match pre-Christmas.

Following a two week break from league action, we are ready to face a side that have played an extra two games during that time, along with a postponed league match against Worthing. In these fixtures they were defeated by Forest Green Rovers in the FA Trophy, and lost at Dorking on Tuesday night in the league.

This meeting with The Seagulls marks our fifth of the calendar year, with the set of fixtures currently sat at two wins for each side ours both coming last season, 3-1 away from home on New Years Day, and a 2-0 win at home. Weston have beaten us 2-1 in the league and 1-0 in the FA Trophy, both at the TSS.

Familiar Faces

It could be argued that all of WSM’s players are a familiar sight, but there is one namely Will Dawes

Will Dawes – Dawes signed for Weston-Super-Mare in March 2025 after leaving us. During his nine months as a Bluebird he featured 35 times in the 2024-25 season scoring three times and assisting twice. Dawes netted the first of Weston’s two in the league match in August.
