MATCH REPORT: Chippenham Town 0-3 Truro City | National League South | Tuesday 11th March 2025
High-flying Truro took all three points with a trio of goals inside nine second half minutes. However, the Bluebirds wasted several first half chances and really should have been in front at the interval. The difference between the sides came down to finishing with the Cornish side proving far more clinical with their opportunities.
The Tinners were the first to show as Josey Casa-Grande saved from Connor Riley-Lowe.
At the other end Tom Mehew’s superb cross field ball presented Leone Gravata with a golden chance but his shot was blocked by keeper Dan Lavercombe.
A long ball from Casa-Grande then saw Aaron Amadi-Holloway denied by a block on the line.
On twenty minutes another good chance fell to Alex Bray but from close in he failed to hit the target.
A minute later Mehew found Matt McClure but his shot was blocked by Lavercombe.
Midway through the half Tyler Harvey headed a cross just wide.
A long throw from Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain again saw Harvey’s headed effort fail to find the target.

Riley-Lowe was then thwarted by Casa-Grande. On seventy one minutes an exquisite thirty yard shot from Joe Andrews was tipped over by Lavercombe and from the resulting corner Luke Spokes shot wide.
