Chippenham Town’s 2022/23 Pre-Season Friendly Schedule

We are delighted to unveil our upcoming schedule of Pre-Season games ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The #Bluebirds will kick off their campaign on Wednesday 6th July with a trip to Highworth Town, followed by additional trips to Hartley Wintney, Cirencester & Melksham Town.

We are happy to agree with Melksham Town FC that our friendly will see the clubs play for a new Ian Monnery Trophy which the winners will retain for a year. Ian was an excellent footballing centre half and holds Chippenham Town’s club appearance record, having played well over 500 games in his two spells from 1976 to 1984 and 1991 to 1996. In between, he also played nearly 300 games for Melksham Town. He was also reserve team manager at both clubs

Kick-off times and the fixtures on both the 19th & 27th July (both planned home games) will be confirmed/announced in due course and in agreement with the clubs concerned where necessary.

Tuesday 12th July 2022 – Bristol Rovers (H) – 7.30pm
Saturday 16th July 2022 – Hartley Wintney (A) – 11am
Tuesday 19th July 2022 – Bristol City (H) – 7.30pm
Saturday 23th July 2022 – Cirencester Town (A) – 3pm (tbc)
Wednesday 27th July 2022 – Cardiff City U21 (H) – 7.30pm
Saturday 30th July 2022 – Melksham Town (A) – 2pm

Admission Prices

Adults & Concessions £5, Juniors £2, (U16’s FREE when accompanied with a paying adult, with one per group). Tickets will only be available to buy at the turnstiles, they are not available online.
