Matt signed for Chippenham Town on Tuesday 17th January 2023 from National League North side Gloucester City, it was there where he scored 12 goals in a shortened league season due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The league was declared null and void on 18 February 2021 with Gloucester City top of the National League North with Matt as top scorer in just 18 games.
