Rex Mannings signs for Chippenham Town

24 year old spent last season with Weston-super-Mare

We are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Rex Mannings ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The 24-year-old joins us following his departure from fellow National League South side Weston-super-Mare over the summer.

Bristol born, Mannings was formerly in the Bristol City and Oxford United academies and then joined Frome Town in 2018.

He would play his first season at step 2 with Bath City, before crossing Somerset once more to join Weston.

2023/24 would see Rex play 33 league matches, including scoring the winner for The Seagulls in their 1-0 win at the Thornbury Surfacing Stadium in March.

On signing for The Bluebirds, Mannings said:

It is good to actually finally be here, and I am really looking forward to playing for Chippenham Town.

I am a left footed player that likes to get on the ball and create something, and the main thing is to score goals and get the fans excited.
