CTFC have an opening for a Matchday assistant

Chippenham Town Football Club are keen to provide work experience opportunities for our younger supporters and , following the recent departure of Hayden Ponter to take up full time employment after three very successful seasons in the role, we have a vacancy for a young person (minimum age 15) to assist the Club Secretary on match days.

The role would suit someone going into Year 11 and will provide a strong appreciation of the activities that go on behind the scenes on match days in staging CTFC’s National League South and FA cup competition fixtures.

It will offer a good personal development opportunity and an appreciation of business management albeit in a football environment. If you’re a young football fan, male or female, and would like to be considered, please contact the Club Secretary by email: secretary@chippenhamtownfc.club with a brief statement of your background and why you think you would be suited for the role.

The closing date for expressions of interest is 2 June 2025.

Please note, it is essential you can commit to a full season’s support for all the Club’s home Saturday and mid-week fixtures (usually Tuesday evenings) including Public Holidays so please think very carefully before declaring an interest. If you cannot guarantee regular attendance, you will not be considered.
