Where are They Now? Chippenham vs Tonbridge Angels | Saturday 7th September 2019
Let’s revisit our crazy 2-1 win over Tonbridge in 2019
Since we are playing Tonbridge at home this weekend, coming to mind is our crazy victory over the Angles in 2019. That day CTFC started 13th in the table against 19th placed Tonbridge.
A goal from Tariq Ossai just before the break gave us the advantage and Chris Zebroski, with his second goal for us, netting from a clean team move. Late on, Will Puddy was shown a red card and gave away a penalty, which the visitors scored. Despite some late pressure, CTFC held out to secure a first win in three matches.
Puddy’s red card gave way for two current CTFC players to have moments in the limelight. During that match Luke Haines donned the gloves, and caught a number of crosses to keep us all three points. And Puddy’s suspension earned Will Henry a second loan spell with us, during which time he made three appearances covering Wil Puddy.
Without further ado, let’s get into ‘Where are They Now’ :
