Our ultimate goal is to help players progress into professional football through the First Team.
As a competing member of the National Youth Football League, we provide our players with a challenging and competitive environment that mirrors the standards of professional academies. This allows them to test their abilities against top-level opposition while developing the skills needed to succeed at the highest level.
Our vision is to be the leading academy and first choice for aspiring young footballers in the Southwest of England. We are dedicated to supporting the club’s ambitions by developing talented individuals with the potential to pursue careers in professional football.
To support player development, we implement a structured Strength and Conditioning (S&C) and Sport Science programme. This programme is designed to enhance physical performance, build resilience, and reduce injury risk.
While we recognize that only a small percentage of players will achieve long-term careers in the sport, we are committed to ensuring that every player benefits from a well-rounded development programme, balancing football training, education, and personal growth.
Although our primary objective is to produce professional footballers who contribute to the success of Chippenham Town FC, we strive to ensure that every player leaves our academy having gained valuable skills and experiences that support their development both on and off the pitch.

Strength and Conditioning (S&C)
At CTFC Academy, our Strength and Conditioning (S&C) and Sport Science department has a focus on enhancing player performance and reducing injury risk. Our comprehensive approach includes on-pitch S&C sessions and warmups designed to improve speed and conditioning, alongside personalised gym programmes that develop proper movement patterns, build strength, and minimise injuries.
Through GPS analysis and load monitoring, we optimise performance while preventing overtraining therefore reducing injury risk. Additionally, we offer bespoke rehabilitation programmes to help players regain strength and return to peak performance safely and efficiently. To further support our athletes, we provide wellness tracking, feedback, and educational resources tailored to individual needs.
