Ezio Touray Signs for Chippenham Town
The forward becomes our first signing of the summer.
Chippenham Town are delighted to announce the arrival of Ezio Touray, following his departure from Poole Town, subject to the completion of the necessary paperwork.
Ezio becomes our first summer addition to the squad, and is a fast, forward player, and he will be linking back up with Harry Parsons, as the two played together 11 times in 2023/24.
Upon signing, Ezio said:
“I am delighted that I got a call from Gary [Horgan], and I could not turn that down,
“I am ready to face what is tough and beat whatever is in front of me and I am ready to smash this league.”

Touray has precedent in scoring, as he netted against Will Henry in our trip to the Bob Lucas in September of 2023 and scored for JMA Reading in the FA Youth Cup in 2020.
Born in Italy in early 2003, Ezio moved to England as a teenager and trained with the John Madejski Academy at Reading FC. In November of 2022 he would impress on a trial with Watford before being signed by the Championship side. A short-loan with Maidstone in 2023 gave him a taste of National League action, before joining the National League South with Weymouth.
He scored three goals in his first three matches with the Terras, and by the time he departed in November of 2024 he had scored 10 league goals for them. Touray would spend the rest of the season with Poole Town, and he would finish their season as the Dolphins’ league top-scorer, with 12 goals in 24 games.
